Client: The Wendy's Company is the third largest quick-service hamburger company in the
United States. A subsidiary, Wendy's International, Inc., is the franchisor of the Wendy's restaurant system. The
Wendy's system includes more than 6,500 restaurants worldwide.
Goal: Develop a promotional kit to introduce the “new” Wendy’s Garden Salads menu to on-air
radio and television personalities nationwide to generate interest in the marketplace.
Art & Ideas: Create a garden-inspired packaging kit utilizing a Wendy’s-branded, reusable
flower pot, design and insert garden sticks into the pot which describe each of the four new salads and creation
of a promotional brochure designed and die-cut to appear as salad when inserted into the pot. Customize readily
available packaging to stay within budget and timeframe.

WENDY’S®: New Breakfast Menu Marketing Kit
Client: The Wendy's Company is the third largest quick-service hamburger company in the
United States. A subsidiary, Wendy's International, Inc., is the franchisor of the Wendy's restaurant system. The
Wendy's system includes more than 6,500 restaurants worldwide.
Goal: Develop a promotional kit to introduce the “new” Wendy’s breakfast menu to on-air
radio and television personalities in various geographic areas to generate interest in the marketplace.
Art & Ideas: Create a breakfast-inspired packaging kit utilizing a Wendy’s-branded, Styrofoam egg which hatches into two halves to display an egg-shaped brochure promoting the various items on the new Breakfast Menu. Encase the egg in natural-colored raffia so it gives the appearance of
being “nested” upon opening the box. Include Wendy’s Gift Cards with each kit to encourage excitement and purchase of new menu items.
Customize readily available packaging to stay within budget and timeframe.

WENDY’S®: Berry Almond Chicken Salad Marketing Brochure
Client: The Wendy's Company is the third largest quick-service hamburger company in the
United States. A subsidiary, Wendy's International, Inc., is the franchisor of the Wendy's restaurant system. The
Wendy's system includes more than 6,500 restaurants worldwide.
Goal: Create a field market manager introduction for the latest Wendy’s salad offering, the Berry
Almond Chicken Salad. Develop a cost-effective yet attractive way to introduce the new menu item while driving interest
and generating sales among regional radio markets.
Art & Ideas: Design a gate-fold brochure featuring tantalizing product imagery from the
advertising campaign that opens to reveal information about salad ingredients and nutritional benefits.
Coordinating envelopes were customized with logo stickers and allowed for additional gift cards to be included if desired.

WENDY’S®: Asian Bistro Menu Marketing Kit
Client: The Wendy's Company is the third largest quick-service hamburger company in the
United States. A subsidiary, Wendy's International, Inc., is the franchisor of the Wendy's restaurant system. The
Wendy's system includes more than 6,500 restaurants worldwide.
Goal: Develop a promotional kit to introduce the “new” Wendy’s Asian Bistro menu items to on-air radio and television
personalities nationwide to generate interest in the marketplace.
Art & Ideas: Create Asian-inspired packaging kit containing Chinese take-out style menu/brochure. Include DJ reads,
Radio/Television spots, Press Releases and general product information. Feature “Chopware”, a fork/knife/chopstick fusion to initiate
buzz and chatter. Customize readily available packaging to stay within budget and timeframe.

PHILIPS: AmbientLED Bulb Marketing Kit
Client: Royal Philips Electronics of the Netherlands is a diversified health and well-being
company, focused on improving people’s lives through timely innovations. Philips employs more than 118,000 employees
worldwide.
Goal: Target trade media and environmental industry reviewers and bloggers to test and spread the word
about the latest Philips bulb technology. Emphasize the Energy Star qualification and the cost-saving features of the
new bulbs in a fun and playful way.
Art & Ideas: Develop an innovative package for the sample bulb being sent to mailing list
recipients. A multi-panel sleeve wraps each box, including bulb facts on each side using special varnish effects. The
box inside invites opening where an informational product card rests on top of an actual sample bulb. The entire kit
uses existing Philips colors and fonts while giving product highlights.

Client: Knight Capital Group, Inc. is an independent financial services firm which specializes
in order execution and provides access to capital markets across multiple asset classes. The organization trades
nearly every security and makes a market in more NYSE and NASDAQ stocks than any other company. It is the leading
source of off-exchange liquidity in U.S. equities with a greater share volume than any U.S. exchange. Knight has a
growing global presence across the Americas, Europe and the Asia Pacific region.
Goal: Create a new t-shirt design to give the team a cohesive look while representing the Knight brand.
Art & Ideas: Design a graphic that illustrates a runner to symbolize Knight's liquidity and the
Company's ability to keep the markets moving for the annual New York and London JPMorgan Chase races. Utilize Knight's
strong color palette and overall corporate look and feel to reinforce the brand.

ROYAL CARIBBEAN CRUISES LTD.: Case-Bound Book, Elegance at Sea
Client: Royal Caribbean is the world’s second largest cruise vacation company, with a combined total of 38 ships in service,
providing approximately 79,000 berths. The company owns and operates five brands which sail itineraries throughout the world.
Goal: Create a commemorative edition titled Elegance at Sea to showcase the art and architecture of Royal Caribbean and
Celebrity Cruises for the company’s Board of Directors, Officers, travel agent partners and valued guests.
Art & Ideas: Highlight the company as an innovative leader in its ability to create some of the world’s most unique and
architecturally impressive cruise ships. Create an elegant piece to preserve memorable images of these magnificent structures renowned
for their extraordinary beauty, mystique and allure.

Client: Kodak is the world’s foremost imaging innovator, providing imaging technology products and services to the
photographic and graphic communications markets.
Goal: Develop a consumer publication to inspire creativity by showcasing various uses of Kodak brand products. Introduce
Paige Davis of TLC’s Trading Spaces to promote the premiere issue.
Art & Ideas: Feature tips on organizing and decorating your lifestyle, and how to “Make Something Kodak.” Highlight
clever ways for sharing memories that are both fun and functional for the entire family. Include incentive-based coupon and tear-out
frame with creative ideas to get started.
